Ayurvedic Consultation

An Ayurvedic consultation is a space to explore your current state of health in the broader context of who you are; physically, emotionally, and energetically.

This is not a diagnosis in the conventional sense, but a process of understanding:
How is your system functioning? Where is it out of rhythm?
What are the deeper patterns underneath your symptoms?

The intention is not to treat isolated problems, but to support the whole person, gently, and with respect for your body’s natural intelligence. The aim is to guide you with the knowledge of Ayurveda, where prevention and education are paramount.

What does it involve?

We begin with conversation. You are invited to share your current concerns, your daily routines, digestion, sleep, menstrual health (if relevant), emotions, energy, and habits. I will observe your pulse, tongue, skin, voice, and ask further questions to understand your constitution (prakriti) and current state of imbalance (vikriti).

In Ayurveda, no two people are the same, even if they share the same symptom.
That’s why this time together is centered around you, not your condition.

The first session typically lasts 90 minutes. Follow-up consultations are shorter and offer space to review, refine, and adapt your plan as your system shifts.

Consultations are held at my home studio, but if you’re not local, you can receive a tailored Ayurvedic consultation online, wherever you are in the world.

What You Receive

After the consultation, you will be offered a personalised program that may include:

  • Guidance on food and eating practices based on your dosha and the season

  • Daily routine (dinacharya) suggestions to support your natural rhythms

  • Herbal support; gentle, appropriate, and often kitchen-based

  • Lifestyle or emotional recommendations rooted in Ayurvedic psychology

  • Practices for calming the nervous system (such as breathwork, grounding, or rest)

  • Ongoing support through follow-ups if needed

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It can be helpful to reflect on your current state before we meet — physically, emotionally, and in your daily life. You might note patterns in digestion, sleep, energy, menstruation (if applicable), or moods. If the session is online, please ensure you’re in a quiet, private space, and avoid eating just before the consultation.

  • Prakriti refers to your original constitution — the unique balance of doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) you were born with. Vikriti is your current state — how your system is functioning now. Understanding the gap between these helps guide what kind of support you need.

  • Yes. Ayurveda can be complementary to conventional care. It’s important to share any medications, treatments, or diagnoses with me so that recommendations are appropriate and safe. This work is never about replacing medical advice.

  • Absolutely. Many people come simply to understand themselves better, reconnect with their body, or learn how to live more in tune with the seasons and their natural rhythm. Preventive care is one of the foundations of Ayurveda.

  • Ayurveda is not a quick-fix system. While some people feel relief or clarity quickly, deeper changes take time and consistency. The process is not about “getting better” as fast as possible, but about returning to alignment in a sustainable way.

  • There is no expectation of perfection. Recommendations are offered with flexibility, and we work together to find what’s manageable and supportive for you. Small, consistent changes are often more powerful than radical overhauls.

  • Yes. A brief follow-up exchange is included after your first consultation if anything is unclear. For continued support, a follow-up session is recommended, especially as changes begin to take effect and new layers surface.

  • Yes, I offer consultations in both English and French. If you are more comfortable in one language, let me know when booking.
